What is An Affair to Remember Auction and Dinner

An Affair to Remember Auction and Dinner is a fun-filled evening completer with Dinner, John Curley, Bellevue High Jazz Band Ensemble, games, raffles, silent auction and live auction.

Who can attend?

The auction event is for adults only.  Family, friends, neighbors. volunteers, staff and alumni of Woodridge Elementary are all welcome.

When and where is the auction?

Date        Friday March 30th (Doors open at 5:00pm)

How much does it cost to attend and how do I buy tickets?

_ Until February 29th we are offering tickets at an early-bird discounted price of $47.  After February 29th the price will increase to $57 per person. To purchase tickets online click the "Buy Tickets to Event" icon to the left or return the RSVP with cash or check.  Extra invitations are available in the school office.

What does the ticket price include?

In addition to an evening filled with entertainment and fun fellowship with our school community, your ticket to the auction includes appetizers during the silent auction and a 2-course sit-down dinner during the live auction.  Drink tickets can be purchased with your auction ticket and a cash bar is available for your convenience at the event.

Can I sponsor a teacher to attend the auction and dinner?

_ The PTSA is offering complementary tickets for teachers and staff at Woodridge Elementary.  The PTSA is asking for $20 donations (or any amount) to help fund this.  If you would like to help you can pay with credit card by selecting Sponsor Staff in the Donation section when you buy tickets or donate money on the auction website (click icons to left).  Cash/check donations can be returned with the invitation sent home in January.   Your generosity can help defray the cost of this generous invitation.

Who can I sit with?

Event is a combination of open and reserved seating.  Open seating will be marked by a balloon at those tables.  Tables of 10 can be reserved, and will be labeled with the Table Captains name.  If you would like to reserve a table of 10, you will be the Table Captain.  Please send an email to our auction RSVP Chair Cristy Livingston with the ten names.

What is the Dress Code?

Smart Casual - Nice pants, jeans & a nice shirt, skirt or dresses are all OK. Please, no t-shirts/sneakers.  

Where do I park?

Parking is available at the Courtyard by Marriott  free of charge during the event.  If you choose to stay overnight the fee is $10.

Is there a special Hotel Room rate at the venue?

_ We have a group of rooms blocked off for guests at our event until March 16th, 2012. 
The rate is King room (one bed) $89 and Queen room (two beds) $99
Overnight parking $10
A la carte or buffet breakfast is available.

If I can't come, Can I still make a donation?

_ Yes! You can make a donation on our website or by returning the RSVP portion with cash or check.
Your generous support helps make Woodridge Elementary a great place for every student.

Where do the donation items come from?

Generous businesses, families, friends, staff and alumnae of Woodridge Elementary donate all of the items for the auction. Items will reflect our community and it's wonderful diversity ranging from classroom projects made by our students to unique experiences provided by members of the school community and items and experiences donated by local businesses.

Will all the items be expensive?

No, there are items for everyone's budget.  The auction has items starting as low as $10 (Silent Auction) and ranges up to a few thousand dollars (Live Auction).

If I don't plan to spend a lot of money, should I still attend?

_ Absolutely!  Everyone in Woodridge Community is encouraged to attend.  It will be a fun evening with old friends and a great time to make new ones whether you spend a lot of money or not.  This is a perfect opportunity to build our Woodridge Community and to show support for our school.

How do I collect what I bid on in the Silent and Live Auction?

At the end of the night, please proceed to the checkout table where they will process your purchases.  You may collect your items at this time.  PLEASE TAKE YOUR PURCHASES HOME WITH YOU.

All donations are non-refundable.
Items sold during any of the auctions come with no warranty, or guarantee, either expressed or implied.
Woodridge PTSA will not assume any responsibility for any unforeseen damage.
All sales are final; there is no return policy.
