Woodridge Book Exchange
Summer is quickly approaching and here's your chance to pick up some new reading material…for FREE! Sort through your books, bring the ones you're done with, and exchange them for something 'new'! Please only bring children's books in good condition -- chapter books are especially popular.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. BOOK DROP OFF: June 11th, 12th, and 15th. Drop off books between 8:45 - 9:10am Thursday, Friday and Monday June 11th, 12th, and 15th across from the main office. (Important: Books cannot be dropped off the day of the Book Exchange.)
2. “SHOP”: June 16th
On Tuesday, June 16th, you will get to "shop" for other books with your class. You earn one free book for every two books you donate. Children can receive a maximum of 10 books and no child leaves empty handed.
PARENTS, you will get a chance to shop, too, from 3:00 - 3:30pm on Tuesday, June 16. Look for board books, classics, etc. Books will still be free (while supply lasts) and the maximum per person will depend upon how many books are left after the students pick theirs.
Volunteers are needed to help with the book exchange during these times:
To volunteer, contact Pam Rogers or sign up here.
