Science Fair (Mar 2) Book Fair (Mar 6 - 9) Auction: Dessert Dash (Mar 30:sign up to provide a dessert) The Woodridge Elementary School PTSA Carnival is currently scheduled for May 18th, but it can't happen if we don't have the volunteers to plan it. If you love the carnival and want to help continue the tradition, please consider volunteering by yourself or with a friend to fill one of the following organizing roles: Chairperson(s) Cake walk Games Prizes and Store Food Volunteers and Publicity We would like to get the committee together by February 29th so the show can go on! Kelly Yamaura has requested volunteers to help serve lunch every day. We are particularly in need of a regular Friday volunteer. Lunch hours each day are: 11:40 to 12:55 M, T, TH, F and 11:25 to 12:40 Wed. You could sign up to do once in the school year, once a month, once a week, or once in a while. It is not hard work, and it is much appreciated. With adults on the line, it will be much faster giving the kids more time to eat. Whatever help you can give, please contact Kelly Yamaura in the school office at yamaurak@bsd405.org or 425-456-6200. You can also sign up online via the Lunch Server Smart Sheet. Monday Packets: Each Monday morning 4-5 people are needed to help collate the school papers sent home with students that day. Start time is flexible and can be 8:00, 8:30 or 9:00 and even 20 minutes is a big help! Collating is usually completed within an hour. Library Help: Help out in the library anytime between 9am-3:25pm, Monday-Friday. Help whenever you can - daily, weekly or even monthly. Come for an hour, two hours or however long you can! Recess Duty: Help out daily, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly monitoring the playground during lunch and recess: M, T, Th, F: 11:45am-1:15pm 1:45pm - 2:15pm W: 11:30-1:00 Clinic Help: Help out daily, weekly, bi-monthly or montly comforting kids in the nurse's office T, Th or F: 1:45am-2:15pm |
