The students had a variety of fun afterschool programs this quarter: Lego, Art, Chess, Debate, Spanish, Robotics, and Scratch Game Development. With the help of parents volunteers we put together this newsletter to inform the parents and what's planned for the next school year.

Chinook PTSA - Fall 2024

 

 

Chinook PTSA is beginning its search for rising 5th grade caregivers who would like to join our PTSA Board or Chair one of the committees. I know with the year ending and the finish line in sight, it's hard to think of volunteering for the next year. However, my ask is simply if you have any interest to reach out to me to discuss what is available. As you all know, the PTSA for middle school isn't as time consuming as it is in elementary. At Chinook we are fortunate that many of our heavy lifting roles are already filled, but we do have some positions that we would love to have incoming 6th grade caregivers be a part of. * Prelude Choir (PreK-K) must be 4 by September 1, 2024

The Future Is Female is a student led non-profit that teaches students of all ages the fundamentals to many different STEM topics. We will be hosting FREE weekly classes for school students on introductory and advanced topics including coding, machine learning, business, finance, artificial intelligence, and much more. Our mission is to empower women and non-binary people in these fields, raising awareness to gaps in educational opportunities.
