Spring cleaning got you clearing out clutter? We got you!


THE GOODWILL TRUCK IS COMING TO BELLEVUE HIGH SCHOOL ON SATURDAY March 15th.


Bellevue High School Lower Parking Lot
Saturday, March 15th, 9am – 12pm.


Please come help the Bellevue High School Band Boosters raise money by cleaning out your closets and garage. Goodwill is bringing a truck to BHS on Saturday, March 15th to accept donations of used goods. Goodwill has a special program for schools and will donate to the band for providing the space and volunteers to run this event. The more trucks we can fill, the more money to support the Bellevue High Band (and you'll get a donation tax receipt). Band volunteers will be on hand to collect your donation of lightly used household goods as well as an optional cash or online donation that goes directly to the band. Thank you.

Join us to explore Python, a widely used programming language. Beginners get a user-friendly introduction, covering essentials like variables and functions. Debate afterschool class for spring quarter

 

For 3rd-5th graders. Classes are held on Thursdays 3:30 - 5:15pm.

One volunteer is required.

These are programs designed specifically to help students engage in speech and debate and to do so with excellence. Students learn critical thinking, important issues affecting our lives, note taking, group work, and argumentation skills. Many of our students have gone on to win awards at the Seattle University tournaments.

Spring quarter art class afterschool

Wednesday art class by creArt studio!

This season, young artists will dive into a world of 2D and 3D magic, exploring Warli-inspired
art, Kusama-inspired clay flowers, pop-up paper arts, 3D fruit sculptures, vases, and bold
tape art. Through painting, sculpting, and mixed media, they 'll layer, experiment, and bring their stories to life—full of color, creativity, and joyful mess!

Athletes for Kids

 

 

The Athletes for Kids Youth Mentoring Program is focused on building supportive relationships between children who have special needs and high school athletes who are passionate and dedicated to making a difference in their lives.

 

Children in the 1st through 12th grades who have physical, developmental, behavioral, emotional, and/or sensory disabilities are eligible to apply to have an AFK mentor.  All mentors have passed a thorough screening process, background check, and training before being accepted into the program.

The Anxious Generation Community Focus Event

 

The Parent/Guardians and Staff at Woodridge, Enatai, and Medina are invited to join the parent/guardians and staff of Clyde Hill on March 18th from 4:30 - 6:00 PM as we delve into conversation about Jonathan Haidt's text The Anxious Generation.  Using a format similar to what the Bellevue Schools Foundation used earlier in the year, we'll be discussing how the impact of technology on children and how Haidt frames this as a collective action challenge.  Looking at this together as the west attendance area makes sense as many of our students will ultimately attend middle and high school together.

We're thrilled to welcome you to the inaugural season of Bellevue Softball! This year marks an exciting new chapter as Bellevue West and Bellevue National come together to form one unified league. By combining our strengths, we’re creating more opportunities for our players to thrive, connect, and deepen their love for the game of softball.

 

Whether you’re stepping onto the field for the first time or you’re a seasoned player, we have exciting opportunities for you. Softball is about more than just the game — it’s about learning teamwork, building confidence, and creating friendships that last a lifetime.

 

Registration is now open and will be closing on January 25 for upper division players (AAA and above). Lower division players registration will close March 15.

Newport Girls Select Basketball Announces...

 

 

SPRING GIRLS BASKETBALL - STARTING MARCH 18th!

From March 18th to May 29th, join us at the Tillicum Middle School Gym on Tuesday and Thursday nights for Spring Skills Training. Our coaches will help the girls work on their basketball skills and organize scrimmages. The fee is $150 and it is open to girls of all experience levels in 2nd – 8th grade that eventually will go to Newport High School. We will have 2 sessions:


· 6:15-7:45pm: 2nd - 5th graders.

· 7:45-9:15pm: 6th - 8th graders.


The emphasis this Spring is on skill and strength development. For grade levels that have enough players that want to do tournament(s), that option will be available.

University of Washington Afterschool Youth Writers Workshop

 

Young Writers Workshop (4th – 5th grades)


Join a community of students who are passionate about creative writing. Practice good writing habits and skills as you learn about the craft. Throughout this course, you’ll develop strategies for generating story ideas, use word building to create interesting settings and intriguing characters, and explore fun writing strategies to bring your ideas to life. We’ll write short stories, poetry and longer works. You’ll also learn how to make the editing and revision process fun and exciting.

 

This online course is taught via Zoom video conferencing.

Pedalheads Spring and Summer Bike Lessons

 

 

Pedalheads Bike is a learn-to-ride camp known for taking kids from training wheels to two wheel to road riding. We combine a fun group setting with specialized equipment, tailored cycling lessons, and incredible instructors to build confidence and get some of the most tentative kids biking on their own.
