Curriculum Night

 

Our school's Curriculum Night will be held on Wednesday, September 11th.

 

Preschool is from 5:00 - 5:45pm.

 

Kindergarten, First, and Second grade families will meet with their classroom communities from 6:00pm - 6:45pm.

 

Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade families will meet from 7:00pm - 7:45pm.

 

To ensure that everyone is refreshed and ready to go, the PTSA is sponsoring dinner for teachers on Curriculum Night! If you are able to help provide dinner and fixings for our teachers on Wednesday, please sign up to donate here:

School Supplies

 

Schools now purchase all classroom supplies (pencils, crayons and paper for example). Families are responsible for backpacks, water bottles, lunchboxes and other personal goods like that that you would want for your child to have at school.

Makerspace

 

Makerspace is returning to Woodridge!

 

Does your student enjoy...

 

Inventing? Designing? Building? Engineering?

If so, they can join the 1st-2nd grade or 3rd-5th grade Makerspace Club!

 

Makerspace Clubs will meet on Fridays for a four-week session from

8:00am-8:45am with Ms. Baser and Ms. Haney.

 

Space is limited to 20 spots.  Participants will be chosen by lottery. Students may only participate in one session, depending on space, per school year.

 

Registration is due by Friday, September 6th.  Notification of selection sent through Talking Points or the email you've provided.

 

Clubs start on September 13th for the 1st-2nd graders and October 11th for the 3rd-5th graders.

 

If your student is interested in joining the Makerspace Club, please  register as soon as possible, as spaces are limited.

Need Head Coach for Let Me Run

 

We are looking for a head coach for Let Me Run, a program for boys in 3rd to 5th grade, a tradition in Woodridge. The kids have enjoyed it in the past.
This year we still need a parent volunteer as head coach for the program to continue. If you are interested, please email Jen: jens@letmerun.org
