Box Tops For Education

Box Tops for Education

Your routine purchases can put money in the school's pocket!
Learn about the "label loyalty" programs below, then get familiar with the labels that will result ineducational donations from these manufacturers -many you're already buying! One of the easiest ways to participate is to register your
shopping card to automatically count your eligible purchases...

You are already buying eligible products.
Now make it count.

This "passive fundraising program" can generate a steady stream of donations to Woodridge without you doing anything beyond your normal shopping habits. Your purchase of participating brands results in cash from the manufacturer for each proof-of-purchase we furnish, whether electronically through your shopping card, or the old fashioned way (clip and redeem the UPC label*).

Getting started.

1. FLAG YOUR GROCERY LIST
You will be surprised at the number of products included in this General Mills loyalty program! Learn more about how it works and what products are eligible here:

2. SHOP AS NORMAL

3. CLIP & SUBMIT LABELS. Each classroom has a collection bin for labels. Be sure to include the entire UPC code*. Submit all year; collections dates are in December and June.

Fun fact.

The Box Tops program provides $.10 per label.
Last year, that added up to $1,100 for Woodridge!

Testimonials.

"I checked the list again, and we're buying a lot more of the labels that count this year -- I just looked through my cupboard and clipped 5! I admit it, I've caved in on my weakness for Betty Crocker brownies!"   - Kirstin
"My secret is that I have trained my mom and sister to clip labels for our school, too. We have our own competition to see who gets the most."  - Kim

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Sponsor: General Mills
Eligible products: Over 240
How  it works: Clip labels & submit to classrooms for collection. Your PTSA coordinator will submit them to General Mills and the PTSA will receive a donation!

* What in the world is a UPC label, you ask?  It is the Universal Product Code, a symbology that is widely used in the U.S. Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand and other countries for tracking trade items in stores. It is used for scanning at the point of sale and usually consists of 12 numbers, often located near the EAN barcode.
