2012 Woodridge Olympic Field Day… Flame of Champions!
Friday June 8th 2012  12:40-1:50 (K-2nd), 2:00-3:15 (3rd-5th)
This is a super fun event for the kids with fun active activities for ALL! There will be a variety of activities in about 25 stations. Make sure your kids come dressed for the event!!
Please have children wear athletic shoes to school. NO Crocs, open toed or heeled shoes, boots, flip flops or sandals. 

All the classes have “adopted” a country to represent and learn about for field day. They made flags and will carry them as they come to the field, and are asked to wear a Woodridge T-shirt, school colors (red and black) or a color that represents their class’ adopted country. Here is a list of the classes and their countries:

PARENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We need help running Olympic Events such as 2 x 3 Legged Race, 50 Meter Dash, Shot Put, Hurdles and
Olympic Soccer.  We also need help with set-up, take-down, and tattoos & face painting stations.
We need LOTS of parent volunteers!

Shifts are 12:20 to 1:50 (help with set up and running a station) AND 1:50 to 3:25 (run a station and bringing in supplies).
