Details for ParticipationThis is our third year hosting MCT and we are so thrilled to offer the opportunity for students to participate in a real stage production. The audition for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will be held on January 29th at Woodridge Cafe. There are roles for those students Kindergarten -5 th grade. Approximately 50-60 Woodridge students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Director. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time of 3:35 PM and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-minutes after the audition. This is a group audition–no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile ☺ never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! The cost will be $30 for the week. Cash or check to Woodridge PTSA. Rehearsals will be conducted every day in two sessions; 3:35-5:30, 5:45 to 7:45 at Woodridge Café. K-1st grade performers will end at 5:30. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role and be available for all scheduled performances. We ask that you delay or plan to be absent from lessons, tutoring, skiing, sports, parties etc, for this opportunity to learn and memorize a part in a play and be a part of a stage production. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 hours and 15 minutes will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack to be eaten during the 15-minute break between sessions. The performances will be held on February 2nd at 4:00 PM and will be presented in the Woodridge Café. The performance is free of charge.
