ART REFLECTIONS PROGRAM

The deadline to submit entries  for the 2020/2021 Reflections Program has passed. Thank you to all the students who submitted their beautiful artwork. We will be contacting you in January to send out ribbons and certificates. 

Is your child interested in creating art, music, dance, photography, or literature? The Art Reflections Program is a National PTA arts recognition program  that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school, but in life.

Students create original works of art in response to a theme. The theme for the Fall 2020 program year is "I Matter Because...". Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the following categories:
Visual Arts, Photography, Music Composition, Literature, Dance Choreography or Film Production.

About Reflections

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. Young artists get involved through their local PTA or PTSA. A student may submit an entry in any of six arts areas. Only original works of art are accepted.

Restrictions
  • 3D Art will not be accepted by the Council this year.
  • Only photos of framed art or stretched canvas art will be submitted for Woodridge judges. If art moves on to receive a national award, original art will be turned in.
  • Tick Tok videos will not be accepted.
