ART  REFLECTIONS  PROGRAM
Hello Woodridge students,

We would love to see your works of art for the Washington State Reflections program this year.  The theme is “Show Your Voice!"

To enter, students create original works of art in one, or all, of the available arts categories: Dance, Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. There will be a student recognition event for families and we will showcase student works at school. Finalists from local PTAs will move onto Bellevue council PTA and then the state round.

Entries are judged based on the interpretation of the theme, creativity, and technical skills. The interpretation of the theme is judged by how closely the piece relates to the theme, based on the artwork itself and the artist's statement. The interpretation of the theme is weighed more heavily than other considerations. 

Judges this year are Jamie Ro, Justin Kraemer, and Susan Ishii.

There will be a goodie bag for each entry!

The submissions for Woodridge Elementary are due on November 21st.

Step 1: Reflect on the theme ‘Show your voice.’

Step 2: Choose a category or multiple categories. Read these Guidelines.
               - You can submit your entries to one or all of the categories listed.
             
Step 3: Create your artwork(s).       

Step 4: Download and fill out the entry form below. (*Focus on the artist statement.)
 
Step 5: Scan/Photograph your art and the entry form. Upload using the QR code below.
              - All entries must be submitted in digital formats.

About Reflections

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. Young artists get involved through their local PTA or PTSA. A student may submit an entry in any of six arts areas. Only original works of art are accepted.   To see past entries, check out the Student Showcase.
