Why Join the PTSA?
The Woodridge Elementary PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization that raises funds to support and enrich the elementary school experience of all students.
By joining the Woodridge Elementary PTSA, you become part of a volunteer group that supports our kids' learning, safety, and personal growth, while building a strong school community. You’ll also have a voice in decisions that affect your child’s school experience, along with advocacy and family resources to help you champion for your child.
There is no volunteer requirement! You can choose to help with events or join a committee if you’d like - but it’s totally up to you. [See volunteer opportunities here.]
What programs do the PTSA support?
- Faculty/Staff appreciation
- Classroom emergency supplies
- After-school programs and curriculum
- Academic enrichment (class fieldtrips, book fair, STEM fair supplies, author visits)
- Community events (festival of cultures, movie nights, carnival, trunk or treat, yearbook)
- Support for Teachers & Classroom Aids

The dues allocated above go to supporting advocacy for our students at the local, state and national levels. The remainder stays at Woodridge to cover basic PTSA costs like our website, insurance, and other administrative expenses.
It’s important to know that while part of your dues goes to State, National, and Bellevue PTAs, all the money we raise through fundraising for the Eagle FUND stays right here at Woodridge to directly support our students and school community.
*Membership scholarships are available. We want everyone at Woodridge to have access to a PTSA Membership. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you are also eligible for a membership scholarship. For more information or to receive a promo code for membership sign-up, please reach out to our school's community resource contact.
