PTSA Events
Movie Nights: Help pop popcorn, pass out snacks, and monitor the kids. Movie nights take place once every quarter. This is also when our general PTSA meetings take place.
Trunk or Treat: Help organize the Trunk or Treat event for the school! This event usually happens in late October.
Festival of Cultures: Help with set-up, take down, or hosting your own table! This event usually happens in December.
Hot Cocoa Challenge: Help with counting entries and with throwing the party for the winners! This event usually happens just after Winter Break.
Glow Dance: Help with planning, set-up, collecting tickets, selling goods, and cleaning up. This event usually happens in April.
BINGO Night: Help run BINGO night during the book fair. This event usually happens in March.
Book Fair: Help convert the library into a bookstore for this amazing event! This is a huge fundraising opportunity for the library and a fun one for students, families and the community. We'll also need help with cash registers and helping kids find books. This event usually happens in March.
Teacher Appreciation: Help with this week-long event to appreciate our Teachers! This event usually happens in May. We may also have other events where we support our teachers with meals, etc.
Carnival: This is our biggest event of the year. There will be tons of opportunities to run games, collect tickets, pass out prizes, dole out delicious food, and much more! This event usually happens in May/June.
Online Auction Support: Support with the procurement, management, and delivery of items for the Online Auction. This event usually happens during our Carnival in May/June.
Field Day: Come and help run fun physical games with the kids for PE during the day! We need lots of parents to help with this event and it's one of everyone's favorite days to volunteer!
Book Swap: Everyone ends the school year with books for the summer! Help collect donations, set-up the library, help kids select books, and clean up at the end. This event usually happens in June.
5th Grade Graduation: If you are a 4th grade parent, we would love your help to make graduation a magical time for the 5th graders! This event happens in June.
PTSA Programs
Library Volunteers: Join our team of parents to help check-in, check-out, shelve books, and maintain the library. Volunteers are usually signed up at the beginning of the school year.
Vision and Hearing Screening: Help gather and return students from their classrooms to have their Vision and Hearing screened. This usually happens at the beginning of the year.
Recess Volunteers: Come help lead some games with kids at recess! Various times during the day. We will train you and give you all the supplies you need! Approx. 45 minutes a day, any day of the week. This is a high priority need so that we can help more kids have fun, feel included, and make friends at recess!
Room/Recess Parent Coordinator: Help coordinate the room parents’ information pipeline and recess program.
Yearbook: We need adults to help build some of the pages of the book online – can be done on your own time. If you have ever put together an online photo book, this is similar!
Emergency Supplies Storage Room Inventory Help inventory the emergency supply storage room and emergency backpacks.
Picture Day: Help gather and return students from their classrooms to have their School Picture taken. This usually happens at the beginning of the year.
Math Club: Looking for volunteers to start and sustain this club! Fun math activities and competition prep!
After School Program Coordinator: Help select and set-up our after-school enrichment programs (such as LEGO club, chess club, art classes, etc.,).
Bellevue Schools Foundation Representative: Are you a member of the Bellevue Schools
Foundation? If so, we would love you have you as our PTSA BSF Representative.
Reflections Art Chair: Run the Washington State PTA Reflections Art Campaign.
