Reflections Overview For Families & Students

Reflections is a National PTA arts program that encourages students to explore their creativity and express themselves through original works of art. This year's theme, "What My Culture Means To Me!", invites students to reflect on what belonging means to them and share their unique perspectives through art.

Students may submit entries in any of the six arts areas:

• Dance Choreography – originally choreographed dance composition.
• Film Production – animation, narrative, documentary, experimental, or music video/film.
• Literature – fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose, drama, short stories, and lyrics.
• Music Composition – original musical composition, with or without words.
• Photography – color or black/white, including photogram, negative sandwich, and multiple exposure techniques.
• Visual Arts – drawing, painting, computer-generated art, collage, printmaking, needlework, and leather tooling.
